Dang. Happy for the kid but that's what's wrong with baseball. All the major sports should be like football. 3 yrs removed. Most of the kids get sold on a pipe dream and flail out. Then left without much.

The majors have the farm system that is unlike any other sport.

College is essentially the farm system for basketball and football. I wish basketball would adopt the baseball rules. Either go out of high school or if you enroll, you stay 2-3 years.
