Man Nascar has really fallen off

May 28, 2017, 6:09 PM

I didn't even know the Coca Cola 600 was today. Didn't even see it publicized on TV once

The car of tomorrow killed it along with the addition of Toyota. Took away the competition of Ford vs Chevy. Sad.

Agree - when it was real cars......

That you knew of and maybe had it was different. Also, when NASCAR lost its Southern roots and predominantly Southern drivers it lost its image. Sure, the cars they drove weren't "stock" in the literal sense but at least you knew the models.

Nascar has been dead for a couple of years or even longer. Never really been a Nascar fan but about 10 years ago I would watch a few races but now not interested.

Only reason I might watch a little bit is because Coke is a sponsor.

Coke being the sponsor is one of the reasons I won't watch it.

I agree, along with the death of Earnhardt and the constant rule changes. Now it seems like there is a rule for everything and the drivers are a bunch of rich kid pansies

Monaco, Indy, and the 600. Good day for racing. Nascar is

definitely not what it used to be though. They don't seem to be able to drive. Not interesting and way too many cautions. I usually turn the channel and never make it back. Very clear that the $$$ are not there any more either with the lower number of teams and the 10-15 teams that are there to just get a check and not to win. Pretty sad.
