Underdog roll

Since it doesn't appear the baseball team will host. Maybe it's a good thing. If we get a favorable draw perhaps they imbrace the underdog role and win the regional.

This team sucked their way into being a non favorite, not necessarily an underdog. Would've been different if we were loaded with nothing but freshmen, needed a month to get things under control and scrapped our way back to a 35+ win season. That isn't the case here. We were a national seed 3 weeks ago, got punched in the face and pulled a Rhonda Rousey and gave up. Shows a lack of heart which is why a lot of fans have given up on this team. I don't mind losing, but it's the absence of a fight that this team has right now that's disappointing.

I agree , I am so sick of hearing no talent and these are Jacks players.
The talent is there and they very well could make a little noise.
Its the same thing with just about every loss lately.
Get a little lead , keep it until the 7th or 8th and the bottom falls out.
Usually started by a bone head play , lackadaisical play in the field , stupid base running mistakes and the biggest thing killing big innings by striking out on ball 4 in the dirt.
The Bullpen has been bad but the team hasn't made it easy on our pitchers.

You don't give up pulling for the team. You give up that excitement you had when they were winning. And you can't blame the fans for that, because lately that excitement hasn't been showing up in the actions of the players either.
