Nah, Lax is a very specialized sport. Tough to compete with the big boys, especially as a start up program. Sport is not a good fit for Clemson IMO. Hugely popular and rapidly growing sport though, so never say never.

it's fast, a lot of action, some hitting, and plenty of scoring

i'll watch lacrosse anytime over soccer

it's a popular club sport already

Too many " stick , ball and net " games already . Also , Lacrosse is mainly played in the northeast ...how would that translate to the average local Clemson fan who's never seen it played or played it themselves ?

Riggs gets packed out. There is no way lacrosse would be a popular sport at Clemson, it would be very niche and it is unlikely that we would be very good for a long time.
