Funny stuff. I know Ortre and his family, he's a GREAT kid.
SC recruited him harder than Clemson and needed him A LOT more. He would have redshirted at Clemson. Will Muschamp told him he'd start as a true freshman.
Let's no delude ourselves into thinking that he was our #1 or #2 on our recruiting board. Take anything you hear from Gamecock fans about him with a grain of salt.
Our backups are better than their starters. Enough said.
