SO how do you guys see the linebacker rotation this fall

I am getting pretty excited about Lamar and Smith roaming the middle of the field with O'Daniel playing outside.

Big , fast and nasty .
Pass coverage will be better from the position , as well as pass rush .
Disruptive.
Destructive .
Impressive .

Mike: Tre Lamar, first true MLB we've had since Stephone Anthony. Chad Smith should back him up, but he's gonna be the heart of the LB corps
Will: Kendall Joseph will be making the same Mike to Will transition that Ben made last year. it will be very, very difficult for Kendall to keep Shaq Smith off the field
Sam: Dorian O'Daniel. Isaiah Simmons coming on in sub packages. Baylon Spector could also get some time at this position
it will be interesting if BV keeps experimenting with Jalen Williams as a coverage linebacker. the Davis twins will continue to contribute on special teams. Jamie Skalski will contribute on special teams as well and deserves more time in the 2 deep, but this could be the best LB corps we've had since BV came

I don't think that leadership needs to come

from the same position it's leaving from. I expect this year's leaders to be Christian Wilkins, Albert Huggins, Dorian O'Daniel, Ryan Carter

If one gets a bit tired, another just steps in and we're at 110% again.
They need some T-shirts saying "Make yourself comfortable down there..."

Pretty sure Boulware will still sneak in a tackle or two.

And you didn't even mention Kendall Joseph who IMO is our best linebacker. Should be awesome to watch them fill the gaps. Starters will probably be O'Daniel, Joseph, and Lamar in the middle.

Im sorry but if you think KJ is our best LB you haven't been watching film.
Lamar is going to dominate at the Mike.

He doesn't have the highest ceiling of the linebackers, but has produced the most. That's why he started last year. The other guys are still young and haven't proven themselves yet. I do think in time both Lamar and Smith will be better than him. Also I don't need to watch film. I watch games. He was 2nd on the team in tackles with 124 and tied for the team lead with 13.5 tfl.

I think this will be Shaq Smith's year to contribute heavily on special teams. Lamar, Joseph, and O'Daniel will carry the load at LB
