If we win we would be a 4 seed. Meaning we only need to go 1-1 in pool play because we would be the highest seed in our pod in pool play. What a strange system. Here is how it works here:

Wonder whatever happened to just double elimination tournaments. Here's hoping we can score about 10 more runs and win 1.

That makes sense since conferences are so large. Single elimination tournaments then. Fixed it.

The semis and finals are single elimination. Just not the pool play. But I wouldn't mind it all the way around to include 8 teams only.
