2013-2016 Baseball Recruiting Rankings

I think most of us baseball fans already knew this, but for some that want to dump on the team and coach you need to swallow this medicine. Here is a list of Clemson's and their primary competition's recruiting rankings over the last 4 years per Collegiate Baseball and Baseball America. I'll break down Clemson's class each year but will simply put the 4 year aggregate for our competition to save time and space. If any of these teams weren't in the top 25 of BA's poll, I assigned them a 25 ranking as these are all elite programs that would have been close to that number anyway. Obviously, the lower the aggregate number the better the recruiting over the 4 year span.

Folks, Monte is over achieving big time. Louisville is the crazy exception here. Not sure how their team this year or last year could be said to have less than top 5 talent. Somehow they underated them but McDonnell's resume as a head coach is pretty much unmatched since 2007 outside of them not getting a natty. Monte is going to get us where we need to be. His last recruiting class was the best we had in the last 4 years. Now let's finish string Tigers. I think we still get a regional and win it. A top 16 finish would be awesome. Anything above that is just gravy. Go Tigers!!

I agree and I think the baseball team is performing great. Yea we have lost last 3/4 acc series but fsu was top 25 we beat top 20 wake then got swept by 3 unc and 2 UL. I was a teacher UL series and watched unc series we lost by a combined 6 points to UL in 3 games and had chances to win. Same thing with unc we were up most of the game vs them but one inning killed us each game both those series could have easliy went our way. So this team team is very talented we just happen to play 2 top 3 schools towards the end of schedule close to each other. We are still playing great ball and can make a deep push into the post season. This team is going to be good come post season mark my words. But also fans that wanna hate on baseball team need to come support it bc besides the USC series this year been disappointed in the fan turn out for such a good team we are still top 15 idk why everyone thinks we are hitting rock bottom we are fine and will be fine come post season take it to the bank Go Tigers!!!
