And, "Clemson is the only team in the state of S.C. To win a BCS Bowl"..

Plus, "This 11 win season makes it the first time in 108 years that Clemson has had two straight 11 win seasons".

Folks, there were two mighty good & tough teams on that field that night (I witnessed it in person) and the 40-35 score was evidence of that battle til the last intercept by LB Stephon Anthony.

From Jan 2014 to Jan 2017 it's been a Rocket Ride to the Natty Trophy!

Absolutely loved that game. We were very determined. Shuey was a man, some of the most punishing hits I've seen lately. I also loved the announcers comment that Braxton Miller was a "Hurtin Buckaroo" :)

Clemson has played in 7 New Year's, BCS, Power 6 bowls(4 Orange, 1 Sugar, 1 Cotton 1 Fiesta), and 2 National Championship games. S.C. has never played in a major bowl. The Peach Bowl has only been considered a major bowl for the last three years so appearances in the Peach prior to 2014 do not count as a major bowl.

You're forgetting though that they play in a special conference where they are allowed to take credit for what the other teams in their conference achieve.
