Clemson is still an unknown quantity to a multitude of sports writers growing up in NY, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and elsewhere. They are still focused on USC (the real one), Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Texas, LSU, Alabama (deservedly) like some flat earth society. The landscape has shifted.

Some like Herbstreit are catching on. The South is still Main Street for collage football. And Clemson has moved into the Mayor's mansion. They will catch on soon enough. Fortunately the high school recruits get it. Dabo has some secret sauce, and our team will need it to replace the Great Deshaun. Go Tigers! Go Texans!
