SEC Coaching ...........really bad?

Apr 29, 2017, 9:43 AM

With the overwhelming number of players taken from the SEC during the first three rounds of the draft, how in the world could they have had so many mediocre or downright bad teams? UF had three, I think, taken in the second round ......LSU thee in the first and more in the second. It wasn't like either of those teams were world beaters. The real question is how can that much supposed talent be so mediocre as a team. I'm not buying the Coots "beating up on each other garbage"!

Many NFL teams are lazy. They believe the SEC

hype and it's easier to pick those players than actually do the necessary homework and put in the hours needed to find the best players.

Yea - just not very creative. Philosophy...

Seems to be that my team will just "out talent" the opposition. Many good players but "limited" basic , fundamental football. Does not hurt preparing them for NFL.

Right now, yes. 2nd best coach in the league is Dan Mullen!

It's a far cry from where it was when they had Saban, Meyer, spurrier, richt, and a better version of Les Miles.

SEC defenses are overrated bc they have no offense

Apr 29, 2017, 10:31 AM

Look at these "classic" Bama vs LSU defensive battles... In reality their stale, vanilla offenses make their defenses look like world beaters. Take Bama last year, the SEC made them look like the best ever.... Then they faced a real offense in Clemson and we're exposed. Yes there is some real talent, but the lack of offenses makes them all look pro.

The SEC was miserable on offense this year, the ACC was stacked on offense.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger
