Texans Rookie Hazing

Apr 28, 2017, 9:30 AM

Was looking through the bowels of responses to tweets last night during the draft and kept noticing shamecock responses of wanting Clowney to rookie haze Deshaun (Funny how they still laud a streak that ended three years ago).

Is it just me, or wouldn't you think that NUK holds a hell of a lot more pull in that organization after the pro-bowl seasons he's had than Clowney. Not to mention DJ reader being on the other side of the ball as well.

Not knocking on Clowney, but much like the other half of the shamecock tweets eluded to Clowney hitting Deshaun in practice, it all seems like a short-sided grudge and elementary way of thinking. I would also think that Clowney would see a bigger picture.

They aren't going to let Clowney have free shots at their future franchise qb. Clowney already tweeted that he is Watsons biggest fan now.

Coots are just salty over the whooping we put on them this past year

Clowney is not smart enough to understand the importance of Watson to the team. One hard hit in practice and he will get an earful.

Go Tigers!

These guys are in the NFL now and coil dnt care less about their collegiate days. Clowney isn't going to take cheap shots at DW4. Their professionals now. They on same team with same goal. I think fans care way more about all this than the players.

^ Gets it. By the time a player has a couple of years under their belt they don't care past some rivalry betting the week of their annual game.

I read somewhere that the owner of the Texans is a SCU Alum. At first I was distressed. Felt bad for Nuk and Reader....but you have to look at the big picture. He is pulling in good players, excellent players and is moving forward. The plan is to beat the Patriots ( the Alabama of the NFL) or the team that is at the end of the line and get the Trophy and the RINGS!!!! Lets come together and get the job done with Watson in the Lead. I think Legendary is a good word.

Are you kidding? I guarantee that DW4 became Clowney's new favorite NFL QB on draft night.

Just because Shamecock nation is too ignorant to understand that doesn't mean that Clowney doesn't see that Deshaun is the key to his team winning or losing games from here on out

Make Clowney an honorary Tiger. It will up his game and help the Texan Tigers. Will they institute too deep and the tiger walk? His coach, Spurrier, has already switched to a tiger fan.

Clowney probably will

Apr 30, 2017, 6:49 PM

if they can get him off the sofa.

Clowney has his first legit shot at a championship -

if he plays - heck he may get motivated when they make the run.

Oh, they're going to haze him. But that's a good thing, its the right of passage into a close brotherhood. Nuk's probably gonna be the worst! It's all good.
