Arm chair quarterbacks out there.....

Apr 26, 2017, 7:18 PM

Who will be our starting QB this year??

Will it be the same when the showdown happen with FSU in Death Valley?

Loaded at WR! Suitable RB tandem, and great Co-Coordinators on board.

THE QB question hopefully gets settled sooner rather than later. There will never be another DW, but someone needs to quickly man up and lead this team!

What say you T-Netters???

I'm not an armchair quarterback so who ever Dabo, and the Offensive Coordinators
decide on is good enough for me.

I keep hearing the right stuff about Johnson. IMO we win 10 games with any of them.

Well - Dabo will start KB first, but move to Cooper by game 3, and Johnson by game 6. That is a really tough question cuz Dabo is going to have to work his way thru until he gets to HJ.

All 4 QB's will play in game 1.

I dunno, that didn't work out so well for auburn last year. I don't see cycling through like that after watching auburn try it against us

I'm sure we can safely cycle as many QBs as we'd like against that vaunted Kent st defense

If there is not a qb that separates himself then KB will be the starter out of camp. If one of the younger guys shows improvement from spring to fall then one of them could be named starter prior to the season opener.

Don't think we want to be playing musical chairs at qb during the Auburn game

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's an easy one....

Apr 27, 2017, 12:08 AM

Someone will not only have to better than KB, he will have to be nearly perfect to get the start. Dabo has a built-in preference for experience that is powerful to a fault. You need look back no farther than the UGA game and Watson for proof.

And with Auburn looming, I can't imagine all four will play because he'll want KB to get as many snaps as he can to get ready for a real game.

And if you look back to the last two years, don't expect too much from the back-ups when they do get in. Without Dabo's trust (and they won't have it) it'll be hand-off, hand-off, screen and punt when they do get in unless a back breaks a run on first or second down.

I also have a fear that KB won't be completely trusted leading us to be a bit vanilla and allowing other teams to do some box-stacking.
