Reading through the key ring thread earlier.

Apr 26, 2017, 4:12 PM

Which was super awesome by the way. It made me wonder,

How many of you lungers got a church key or at least some version of a top popper on your key ring?

You already know I do because I'm a drunk and not willing to chip my own teeth.

I do. Had it since college, so 17 years, or so.

Apr 26, 2017, 4:26 PM

I would get out after the store closed. So I'd get some beers and try to finish the first one before I got home. I only lived 8 minutes away from the campus and usually won that race.

drink and drive (no open container law). Everybody was sitting in gridlock on the interstates leaving work, drinking. There was a place in Beaumont, TX (home of Janis Joplin and Johnny Winter) that sold margaritas at a drive-by window. Had to be sold in a sealed container, so they put a piece of tape over the end of the straw. True story.

Remember Hutch's Drive Through?

Apr 26, 2017, 4:48 PM

We used to get gallon jugs of draft beer through the drive-thru window and ride up all over Rock Hill. Of course, we were 15 and it was illegal, but Hutch's never seemed to worry about checking IDs. You could save 25 cents by bringing your own milk jug.
