Should School & DaBO promote where Clemson is located?!

Ran into a Buckeye Fan today, who pulled for TiGERS in Natty & knows a lot about college FB, who actually stated that he thought We were located near Columbia, hence the rivalry.
Plus, much of sports nation, I heard, don't have a clue and some say in NC.
Does it matter?!

I think Columbus is near Cincinnati and Cleveland, but I'm from South Carolina so I don't know or to be honest don't really care to know, to things in perspective

Bill IMO, I don't think so. Clemson has been burning it up in college FB for the past 5-6 years now. If fans at other schools in other cities don't know nothing about where Clemson is, or what our surroundings are, let them remain stupid.

In my mind, Clemson is close to Cooterville. Close and far is a matter of perception. I would say we are a long way from Myrtle Beach, but not far enough from Cooterville.

Do Not tell anyone where Clemson is. We'll let them know strictly on a need to know basis. Don't want anyone else moving to SC. Drove through campus this week and there's very little recognizeable. Hubby and I never did figure out where our old prefab was.

It sat on what's been the parking lot beside athlete office building for many years & directly above the entrance to base ball park, and across from LJ. In fact, I walked to classes in early to mid 60's and watched it dug out & built.
