College baseball games played

I see oregon st is sitting at number 1, with a 32-3 record. While we are 33-8. How is it that we have played 41 games and o st has only played 35. Seems if we have more wins while playing 6 extra games (2 extra weeks) we should be ahead of them. I know its not a big deal with the ranking but why have we and most everybody else in the top 5 or more played attest 5 more games then oregon st. Does the pac 12 have a differnt post season schedule.

May have something to do with the weather. The Pacific Northwest ain't Miami in march!

Not sure of reason the have played less games unless inclement weather

But 32-3 is deserving of higher ranking than 33-8 IMO. You don't agree with a well above .900 win percentage better than .800 ??

two reasons: 1) they have had 2 games canceled

and 2) Pac-12 does NOT play a tourney, so they play an extra weekend of regular schedule games.

that's the 5 games difference. Other Pac-12 teams have played 3-4 games less also.

very easy actually. Clemson doesn't really deserve to be in the conversation with Oregon, and we'll see if they belong in the conversation with uncheat this weekend. Clemson has a good team, great team is tbd. They've only been tested twice and that was the last two weekends and we haven't really looked sharp in pitching.

Oregon vs top 50 teams - 15-1
uncheat - 11-4
Clemson 7-5
