I drove with some friends to Auburn in 2010

and that loss stung for a long time. That made the 2011 Auburn game that much sweeter. So I'd have to say (other than the NC and 56-7) that game.
"And I can't think of a better place to end the streak!"
The ACC Championship that year was also really sweet. All a part of the journey.

There are too many. Of course Bama at the Natty and the Coots 56-7.
I really loved the Notre Dame game. Legendary!
Louisville at home last year was amazing!

a couple of wild underrated games that were Maryland 2011 and nc state 2012

That's obviously first. Other personal favorites: 2014 vs USuC (one legged Deshaun ending the streak), 2013 UGA, 2012 LSU, 2011 VT ACCCG, 201 Auburn, 2009 Miami (Jacoby Ford!), 2008 USuCk, and 2008 BC (Dabo's first win as HC)

Alabama, obviously #1 but here are my next enjoyable wins
Apr 23, 2017, 10:19 PM
|
|
2) LSU - Started it all in my opinion. It showed me that the players finally bought in to what Dabo was selling them.
3) Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. They talked big and Shaq and Boulware kicked their collective ##### and made them quit.
4) Ohio State - Fiesta Bowl - 31-0. Enough said.
5) Notre Dame - Wet, wild and wooly. To me was the pivotal game that vaulted us to No.1 for the first time since 1982.
6) FSU - 2015 & 2016 - Both were hard fought nail biters that led to ACC championships and more.

I think the one I get asked about the most is Notre Dame. I'm still drying out from that one.

Besides ACC/Nat Championships I would say the LSU game.
LSU was 8th in the country, way outside the realm of what we usually would beat and we took it to them. I know we won with a kick as time expired but we doubled their yards. This was in the peak of SEC power and the beginning of Clemson's assertion to the Natty. All the talking heads expected LSU to stomp us.
I was at a party with a decent amount of coots and when we got 37 yards out I started jumping with joy. They looked at me like I had 3 heads. What they didn't know is Catman is a cold blooded killer and he wasn't gonna #### up that easy kick.
tOSU SHOULD have been that kinda game but we took them behind the wood shed and they never came back.

Bama #1 - obviously ND #2 - hype, rain, late night, early AM getting home, saturated.... epic LSU #3 - never will forget that field goal. It started it all.

Natty vs. Bama...not even close.

All of those other wins, in isolation, are things we were doing for the past 35 years on occasion with and without Dabo.
The Natty is what separates.

Besides the natty, 2011 VT win for the ACC championship. That was a feeling of finally getting that elusive ACC champ and getting over that hump. It was long awaited for. It was a very proud moment.

I would take Notre Dame in the "40 days-40 nights Biblical Flood" type rain. That was epic.

The Natty.
LSU started the journey.
ND + FSU that season got the monkey off our back.

UNC 2014 / NCSU 2014 were fantastic reg. season wins
Apr 24, 2017, 2:07 PM
|
|
The first was Watson's first collegiate start - 6 passing TD's for a school record in his first start.
The second was about as dominating a performance as I've seen against the Wolfpack - the first half consisted of:
NCSU - 3 plays, punt CLEMSON - TD repeat...
Add a Watson vault over a 'Pack defender for a TD, and a 3rd quarter Vic Beasley sack/strip/TD for flavor. The only downside was the injury to Stoudt at the end, that led to problems down the road that season.
