unbalanced college football scheduling

Apr 23, 2017, 8:04 PM

Next time a SC fan gets on their high horse about the almighty SEC and how they play the best teams in the country week by week, gently remind them that Clemson has played Alabama more times in the school's history (17) than SC has played Alabama (15) and we have never been in the same conference.

Since joining the SEC 26 years ago the coots have only played Alabama 8 times.

the SEC East is a joke. That is all...

Southern Conference charter members were Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Washington & Lee.

Haven't done the research but I think Clemson has played Bama, Auburn and LSU just as much, if not more, than the coots in the last 5-7 years.

coots need a football team first. Being AT the game and being IN the game are two completely different things.

Oh, they will tell you all about that time that they beat Bama at #1. Still went to the Outback or Music City Bowl, so how did that work put for them?

Muscrap just insured their non-conference foes got much easier in the next decade so as to help his/their record. The Usuck fans cannot mouth off without recourse now. When you are to scared to travel to East Carolina in a future contest I guess the mighty SEC least seems to tall mountain to climb! Nice step to drop the pirates for somebody easier to beat, or so you hope.
