Well, probably "quarter-inches" more accurately.

That's about how far off the plate Chris Williams was when he took that throw from Krall that should have forced out number two of the inning, but instead allowed a run to score.

The next batter hit a long fly ball out that *would have been* out number three, but instead it scored another run.

The inning should have ended up 3-0 Clemson but instead it ended 3-2.

And as we know, those two runs were the diference in the game which ended up a one-run loss.
