Traffic will be disrupted EVERYWHERE because of this particular location. Used to live just a few miles from there in Buckhead. Thankfully we live safely now in Clemson!

Many years ago was traveling through there on my way to Birmingham, Alabama to visit younger brother, 4 lanes moving at 85 mph. I looked over, and there was a Highway Patrol cruiser in one of the right lanes. As soon as he could, he dove off an exit, he wasn't even thinking about issuing a ticket, he just wanted to get the hail out of there!

My wife and I used to have to travel thru ATL monthly for 3 years before I retired. We looked at that yesterday and was very thankful that we no longer have to go thru there. That will be a mess. I checked road closings on my phone app, and roads are closed everywhere, with traffic piling up all over the place. That is a sad situation.

to see my daughter at Emory, but this is going to redirect a lot of that traffic coming from and going into downtown onto 285 and 20, and into my face. The 285-20 exits area is already the worst part of the trip and now that multiplies exponentially. And that's not even talking about N. Decatur Road that's going to become a backway cut across. Not good for me!
