shutouts. This shows that M. Lee is coaching the small things. Pitching is better but fielding and less errors is going to make a huge difference. We're not beating ourselves as much.

We have gone from a bad pitching team to an excellent one in a years time.
All with about the same pitchers, so you can see what good coaching has done.

I like how he has them running the bases too. He puts pressure on opposing teams. They had better bring really good catchers or Lee will make them pay.

I could be wrong 'cause I don't keep up with stats on stuff sometimes, but I think we are leaving fewer men on base. That can shut down momentum when we leave 2-3 on the bases. Seems like we're stretching for the extra base at times. Reed R. last night at home plate is an example. I would have thought he would stay at third.
