How many years does a football national championship give you a pass for sub-par performances in other major sports? Is that a good question

Men's and Women's. I just want a good or great team to pull for when basketball season rolls around, and it last from October-March and early April, for some, so that's a long time we have to endure whether we are good or bad. It's the second most important sport and the fact that we are so bad at bball sometimes puts a damper on how great we are at football, it kind of taints our success, when we lose in the first round of the NIT at home to Oakland. I might not have the best pulse but I only speak from my heart. I went to Clemson from 2092-2007 and went to the basketball games and remember enduring basically the same crap we have to go through now with our bball team, so nothing has really changed on the basketball front. All I'm saying is that it would be really nice to have a team to pull for in March, if we did, there would absolutely not be any doubt who to pull for when tourney time rolls around. That's all I have to say about that.

I think it just makes us more HUNGRY for more! We got that taste of being #1 in a sport and now we demand perfection from nearly every other sport!

Why aren't there dip-n-dots on every corner around the stadium? Why isn't there a chick-fil-a inside the west endzone? Why hasn't our bass fishing team won a natty? That's what I'd ax.

LOL maybe Timmy should ask why we don't emulate the coots and have an equestrian team. Why do we also give "bandwagon fans" free passes???
