We have a Baseball team that is 20-4 and it's being overshadowed by people complaining about basketball everyday with the same posts. I feel bad for our Baseball team.

that college basketball is simply that much bigger than college baseball. It's like some don't realize as many or more people will watch the championship game next Monday as watched the football game in January. March Madness is huge and networks paid billions for the rights to air games. A March baseball series against a bad team doesn't come close. The CWS doesn't come close. Just how it is.

If anyone thinks as many or more people will watch the basketball championship game as they did the football national championship, well, maybe 2&2 might equal 5. The only single sporting event more watched than the CFP National Championship game is the Super Bowl. Football is the king sport in this country, and it's not really even close. The National Championship in College Football is far superior to any other national collegiate athletic championship. Basketball may indeed be the second most nationally sought after championship, however, it would take at least 2 or 3 basketball titles to rival 1 CFP National Title. Any gamecock fan, if they are being honest, would trade both their baseball titles, and this final four appearance for one, just one, Football Title.

college basketball championship game was on CBS (last year was cable) it had 28 mil viewers. While football does tend to get slightly higher ratings most years, it's far from superior!

also, the low seed play-in game of the NCAA tournament draws a higher rating than any college baseball game ever aired.

to win it. But this narrative of woe regarding ignoring baseball over March Madness is just stooooopid.
This is a huge deal, and if they happen to win it, Lord help us, it's really huge.

Yup. It's baffling that so many people on this board don't realize basketball is the only sport that actually matters on a national perspective. (After football of course)
College baseball, soccer, women's basketball, and other sports don't get any publicity or attention in the world of sports.

But NCAA football is watched by drives more than basketball. The College football national championship has more than double the viewership of basketball. Football is the only major money maker in college sports.

Not arguing one way or another since importance is probably personal preference - but has anyone else noticed on ESPN.com or their mobile app that NCAAM and NCAAF are options along with MLB and a lot of other sports, but it's a pain to drill down to find anything about COLLEGE baseball. They need an NCAAB for college baseball IMO. 
I always found it interesting that ESPN totally ignores college baseball. Not sure why.
