If the Coots keep winning, but I WILL NOT be happy myself. I will NEVER pull for the Coots in ANYTHING. Even managed to pull for Duke basketball.

We are not playing them. After all, they are a SC institution and they have a lot of SC people there. I don't begrudge them having some happiness too.

I guess I never understand why folks take joy out of other people's misery.

I cannot think of one team that I "hate". Dislike, yes, but hate? No.

Now that said, UNC tops my "dislike" list simply because of their power position in the ACC with Swoffie in charge. They get a pass on violations but Clemson gets book thrown at it yet Ford was exonerated in the end.

I do have a few coaches that I cannot stand due to what I perceive as having character issues. Petrino, Meyer, Kiffin, Calipari...

I have a special loathing for anything and everything UNC. I grew up watching David Thompson playing BBall live at NC State. Then comes the 4 corners. I learned to loathe them at an early age. They are an awful pious bunch. Their colors suck and they wear argyle. They are cheaters of the highest order. And I dislike their well...
So no, I can stomach seeing USCjr win. I felt an elation watching them get thumped at the very end of the game last year only to be exceeded by the elation felt at our national championship.

I have always tried to be friendly to Coot fans. My Family is largely Coot fans. After we won the 2016 National Championship, I had one Cousin congratulate me. The rest said nothing. I will pull for anybody that plays them in any sport and have told my Family just that. As much as I hate UNC, all I can say is Go Heels!
