Bently Shines as Coots Move Towards Spring Game

Sophomore quarterback Jake Bentley stood out Saturday as South Carolina held its second scrimmage of spring practice.
“I thought Jake threw the ball extremely well today, very accurate, especially in the third down period, and looked really sharp directing our offense,” USC coach Will Muschamp said.
Waiting On Freshmen
The defensive players in South Carolina’s 2017 recruiting class, who will enroll this summer, better be ready to play this fall, Muschamp indicated.
“We have improved our team speed defensively, but we are going to have to have some guys come in and help us defensively in the fall that aren’t here yet,” he said. “We have to give some new guys some opportunity. I’ve seen enough of what I’ve seen on some of these guys.”

LOL, so the defense is so bad that they even made Bently look good. I guess scu is counting on those high school also rans to be better. Too bad they don't have the high school super stars that will be waiting their turn in the up state.
