Greg Buckner Interview: Why Clemson's Special

and other things. For those who remember the Buckner years, he was the last of the great mid range jump shooters. These days, it's either a three pointer or a three footer. He would maneuver into range, jump and extend his arms to the point where he had almost no bend in his elbows and flick his wrist. allowing him to shoot over taller players.

Make sure to listen to the end when he says which coach he learned the most from.

he could recruit young men. He'd have to learn the intricacies of the AAU circuit and such, be he could connect with guys

He would make a great assistant coach. Given our current situation, he would be worth the hire. His pro ties as well as his college ties to Rick Barnes are asset. Dabo has been very smart to get older Clemson players from the Ford days involved in the program. Why can't Brownell hire players who excelled at Clemson under successful coaches?
