Out of letter by VCU. He can go anywhere but A-10 and LSU. We finished 2nd for him so we have a good chance. Hopefully Grantham or Hudson as reported might transfer. We need a 2nd good PG behind Mitchell. Is eligible next year as a frosh.

we were right in it for him however. But right now all 13 scholarships are filled. The stability of the coaching situation long term is shakier as well. I'd look for Keats and State to make a major push for him

I had forgotten about that. I hope it's not Hudson, because we need the PG depth. Of course, if we replace him with Batts then I'm good with that trade.
Interestingly, Hudson was a top 100 recruit just like Batts is.

He might be a graduate transfer? Just a guess.
Personally I think we need immediate inside help besides incoming frosh players.

He wants to go to a team that runs.
He is looking at NC State because he already has a relationship with Keatts and that is the system he runs.

we run now, so that's not a big issue. State is likely losing Smith to the NBA and will need a PG. We have Mitchell two more years
