a good pick b/c of the spread, and that he wasn't sure that he could audible and make play calls, b/c his coaches at Clemson did that.

For what it's worth he is entitled to his opinion but his show sucks. Lame athlete interviews, no humor and relies on the commentary of his minions aka dannettes

I'd be interested to know how many QBs in the NFL actually make an audible now. The radios in their helmets are on until there's less than 15 seconds on the playclock.

Real name is Daniel Patrick Pugh from Mason, Ohio. Class of 1974.

Show is boring and irrelevant. His best years were a couple of decades back.

Guess I'm in the minority, I really like his show. It's typically in the top 3 of national radio sports shows. He does lean more towards USCjr since Rucker and Spurrier are common guest on his show, but he is far from a Clemson hater. Pretty sure he picked the Tigers to beat Bama, and continues to say DW should be the first QB taken. He just thinks none of these QBs are franchise types.

He does good interviews and asks questions you don't get on most shows.

You're right that he does like Watson and Clemson.

All he basically said is just like Cam Newton, Watson didn't call audibles or plays in college and that's always a concern. Just said there isn't a sure fire guy and that Wentz wasn't as much of a gamble because he did those things as apart of that offense.
