ncaa decision on ole miss allows Sec to survive

Feb 23, 2017, 10:52 AM

taking plea deals from a buncha recruits who were just as guilty of taking money from other schools... means ncaa is allowing the sec to survive and thrive at the expense of all other conferences

hope they open their eyes to realize the smoke from this ole miss debacle has to extend beyond what they now know about the fires at miss state and the rest of goons at the sec

man up, retract whatever plea bargains, and let the real headhunting begin. start with saban and work down... and we'll gladly take the 2015 trophy a year late

Do you have factual information here as far as recruits who

play for other schools, taking plea deals? I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but to just speculate here, would seem to be a bit off.

Some Miss St and Auburn players that were recruited by Ole

Miss were granted immunity by the NCAA so they would spill the beans on their recruitment process. As far as i know no further info ever came out about it, and Alabama was never mentioned.

"NCAA Enforcement representatives have visited Auburn and Mississippi State, and perhaps at least one more SEC Western Division school, this summer to speak with players who were recruited by Ole Miss. The players were granted immunity from potential NCAA sanctions in exchange for truthful accounts of their recruitment, sources said."

It won't happen...

Don't think for a second that if Ole Miss had won the Natty that they wouldn't be getting off on this. Its all in the effect of the ole mighty dollar. Why do you think Cam Newton and Auburn didn't get hammered? They won a natty and generated revenue.
