If we go 2-2 over our next 4 games, will we make the NIT?

We would end up at 16-15 and 6-13 in conference.

My guess is we would be either last 4 in NIT or just miss

making the field in that scenario. I honestly dont care at this point, because I dont think we deserve post season play for the body of work we present. You can talk close losses and sos but at some point you have to win and we havent done that. However, if for some reason the AD chooses to retain Brad Brownell, I would take the NIT if we qualify as it would be extra practice for next year. If we are going in a different direction, I say decline the bid and get started on coaching search as the new coach will bring his own system and the added benefit of playing in the NIT would be lost.

Don't really care about anything other than the NCAA tournament . If you're aren't one of the best 68 teams in the country, you are really nothing

I would take an NIT bid only if we had not been expecting anything remotely approaching a winning season. This year we were anticipating an NCAA bid! Move on and hire a new coach instead.
