Here's what I think about crystal ball predictions and 5 star recruits going elsewhere

I don't. I literally don't even think about it. Wanna know what not having a ton of 5 stars or #1 ranked recruiting classes has gotten us the last five years? 2 conference championships, a BCS bowl win, and a National Chanpionship. Player development and elite coaching ability is what matters...not how impressive the recruits are.

Yep as long as we get the right kids that want to come to Clemson and be great we will be just fine. There are going to be some 5 stars along the way but we do not have to get them all. I want the kids that want to be a part of this not ones that have to be talked into it.

On the other hand , if you max out size in the gym with top quality creatine ...the next step is steroids .

potential talent...mainly at the three star level. Bring them in and we can develop them. I'll always remember years ago the Falcons needed a defensive lineman for their first pick. It came down to two guys, an All American at UGa and some kid at a small school in either TN or KY. They drafted the latter. Georgia folks went wild! Falcons explanation was, " We know the Georgia guy has had top notch coaching for four years. The other guy has not. Both being equal right now, we think we can 'coach' the guy we selected up to be the better player."
I think this sums up our staff's recruiting philosophy. So far it has worked!

Crystal Ball was such a great singer, beautiful voice and her sister Lucille was pretty funny......I didn't know they did sports predictions.
