Breaking, Browns may trade 1st round pick to

Feb 19, 2017, 3:33 PM

New England for backup qb Jimmy Garrapolo. Would the Patriots take Watson to groom to replace Brady?

Bad deal by the Browns. Garropollo is Matt Cassell 2.0

NE would immediately trade out of that spot to accumulate more picks. They don't pay unproven players and aren't going to take on a #1 overall pick.

I'd love to see it but

I just don't see New England ever taking a QB at number one as long as Brady is still on the roster. He might be getting old and will retire in a few years but I don't think they'd pass up the chance to get better at other positions.
