the last few years is. The recruits are usually kids who meet at IMG and do not grow up together. They all have independent minds and don't usually get persuaded by their teammates in the college choices.

Somewhat. They're prone to making friendships and attachments, as anyone is, but these are all guys who often have 10, 20, even 30+ offers and they have a lot of choices and a lot of guidance around them and there's a much more deliberate approach to their recruiting.

Plus, there's a certain...competitiveness, at IMG. It's not the most super-friendly of places; there's a good bit of competition for spots and these guys are aware of what it's like when the guy next to you is capable of taking your place in the team. It's a bit of a way station, like a junior college, albeit at a much higher level.

I knew a fair number of soccer players who passed through Bradenton. They said it was good, well-coached, highly professional...and very by-the-numbers, and guys didn't get super-close to another.

As long as their main concern is winning a national championship, being away from home should be a second thought!

They might not convince each other where to go,BUT any Coot fan should note that their school is a joke on that campus,so they'll convince someone where NOT to go.
