paced spread offenses and how many plays their defense had to play. Excuse me but didn't our offense play the same number of plays?

To win against a talented high pace offense like we have, our opponent better have a deep defense with the 1st and 2nd team being just as good as each other. If not, and we are playing our best, they won't stand a chance. But for some reason, our teams biggest down fall is they always play down to what they believe is a lesser team. I hope that our coaches will some how get our guys to play their best FB against every team we play against in every game regardless of how good or bad that team is....

If their offense could've made some 1st downs

then their defense wouldn't have been on the field so long. Our defense was clearly better than their offense. And our offense over time was clearly better then their defense.
