God forbid Cleveland drafts DW4.....

Jan 23, 2017, 10:56 AM

I see DW going in to that situation as positive as possible. He is a leader - he will go in to that organization as a leader. He won't go in there like Johnny Manziel and act like he's the messiah. He'll go in to the situation with confidence but humility, just like he handled himself all 3 years at Clemson. He'll listen to his coaches, he'll learn the playbook, he'll study film, and he'll work with and learn from his teammates. Just like he did at Clemson. If any one player could help turn that organization around, it would be him (I think they need far more than one star player to turn them around, but IF, knowing it's a big IF!).

No matter where he lands, he will do well. If he gets in with the right organization, he will be outstanding. But he's a leader and he'll do his best, no matter what and where. He's exactly the kind of guy every coach and every player wants on their team.

But please... not Cleveland!!!!

Some place like that.

Qb is good enough to keep starting but old enough to be retiring in a few years.

Play back up for 3-4 years.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

That's so rare though. I don't think teams can afford

to have a high draft pick sitting behind a good, proven starter just eating cap money. Is there any recent example outside of Aaron Rodgers (and he was only a late 1st)? Maybe it's slightly more possible now with the rookie wage scale, but i still just can't see it happening.

I hope he goes to Clev as my top choice.

I want to get in on the ground floor there, to an extent, as a fan. Moreover, I believe the Browns win the Superbowl within 6 years of Watson being drafted, wherever he goes.
