This is looking to be a great Superbowl. I am thinking Atlanta, but it's coin flip in my opinion.

does it mean anything that you can't have both a point difference of 3 and a total points scored of 58 (the score could be 31-27 or 30-28, neither of which is a difference of 3) Is there a connection between the two?

They are generally seperate bets or seperate lines.

You could can combine bets and if you win you will get a better return on your money. That is called a "parlay".


Anyway, those lines I gave. If the Falcons lose by 3 it is a push. If the Falcons stay within 2 or better they cover the spread. Of course the opposite is for the Pats. The Pats would need to win by 4 ore more to cover the spread.




As far as that over/under..It is just what the combined score of both teams and that total will be. You can bet that their combined score will be more than that number or less than that number.

I'd take the over, I think both teams score in the 30s.
