Where would alabama be

Jan 21, 2017, 2:11 PM

I just wonder where alabama would be if it actually faced good teams the last few seasons?

Yes, I'm saying that the sec is and has been way overrated.

No, I have never believed the sec hype from espn.

OK,besides Clemson, who do you consider good teams?
Florida State.Well they open up next season against the Tide, and both will be top 5 programs.
Ohio State.Clemson has beaten them twice, once a shut out while Alabama lost to them 2015.But the Buckeyes still have a National Championship under Urban Meyers!
How about Notre Dame? They did beat them for the National Championship in 2013.
Of course we also beat them in the rain last season.
Is Oklahoma a good team?We beat them in the semi finals last season,Alabama lost to them
in 2014.
Alabama has played some good teams. So has Clemson.
But you still have to play your conference, and while the SEC might have been down
this year,Auburn,LSU,Florida, even Georgia are still consistent winning programs.
And let's not forget the powerhouse of the SEC,the coots who have a share of last years National Championship.
Yes,the SEC might be overhyped. And I think that will change if the ACC can improve on it'
strength's.
But Alabama has played some good teams.
But so has Clemson.

SEC down in 2016 - but Bammer very legit

Jan 21, 2017, 5:24 PM

Do not kid yourself. Bammer has the horses and coaching. It took everything Clemson ha=d to beat Bammer and win with one second remaining. That said, I still hypothesize Clemson Football team was stronger in 2015 than 2016. Ask yourself how Clemson would have fared in Bama vs. Clemson 1 with Mike Williams, Deon Cain, and a healthy Mackenzie Alexander and Shaq Lawson.
