Dear Players,

As a long time fan I must say I was actually looking forward to ACC play this season, especially with solid non-conference play, however matters have clearly gone sour for both teams! Effort has been evident, but something is also clearly missing. Only you and your coaches can move toward success with support of the fans and administrators, but quite frankly you should not be accepting of blowouts! I honestly ask; where is your pride?

You represent an entire university and while you strive to win something seems to be unsettled in both programs. Fans clearly want more! Examine yourselves, seek guidance and put forth your best. That is all we ask. Do not give up! Make a renewed commitment and finish strongly.
