2018 DE Xavier Thomas of Florence and IMG Academy reacted on Twitter Wednesday night to the news that Clemson’s defensive ends coach Marion Hobby is leaving for the NFL. Thomas has narrowed his decision to USC and Clemson. He tweeted that Hobby’s departure will be a factor in his decision and later deleted that tweet. He then tweeted he would not be putting out anymore recruiting information on Twitter until he makes his decision.

Coot radio here in colo hss made that their main toppic seversl times a day everyday ever since the news broke sbout Hobby leaving for the pro's and how it would or should push Xavier Thomas to them being that our D won't be what it's been without Hobby and Brook's. And they are saying that we will lose other Elite defensive recruits also. They taking it and using as their #1recruiting tool for the cootsucks fb team. What they're not telling is that if they would have had Hobby and Brook's coaching their D line, they still wouldn't have had any more wins on the season than they had. There is only so many CUP CAKES on a schedule ever year unless they do what they should have done years ago, and that is join the southern conference.
If they don't find another retired legend with a wish to ruin their coaching career like a Steve Spurrier, the Southern conference is their best bet to get past 6 or 7 wins a season, there isn't any championships hide in there with their type of seasons!!!!

we have lost in recruiting over just the last few years...Nkimdiche, Mount Adams, Kelly (booted), that little 5 star RB from florida (booted - can't even remember his name anymore) etc, etc etc...and STILL we win the National Championship.
We recruit at such a high level and are so deep we can just brush off these drama queens with no net impact. Dabo has now PROVEN that character matters as much as talent, and the tolerance for these divas has dropped waaaay down. Want to come to Clemson, be part of a great family, get a great education, and get an inside track to the NFL? Welcome aboard. Want to play games and jerk us around...see ya. We got talent stacked up in front of you on the three deep and stacked up behind you eagerly waiting to get in. It's an honor for you to get to represent Clemson, not an honor for us to get you.
