We all play 12 games. It's not like they play an extra one.

This is some combination of USC or the conference making this schedule, but I have no sympathy as again we all play 12 games. Essentially their bye is November 25th. It's at the end of the regular season. Now, I personally would rather have a bye roughly mid-season, but again, not like they're playing an extra game.

That is a schedule that can grind your wheels off. Having a bye week later on in the season is huge because it lets you heal guys up and give guys some badly-needed time off; by the end of a season everybody is gimping pretty hard.

Something to consider if you're thinking about betting on Southern Cal next year. They're good; they're not deep, and no bye week is certainly going to effect them in November.

Last year the bye week was favored by 7, but USuC pulled out a squeaker. I guess they dropped the bye week from the schedule, just like the citadel.
