Regarding DW4 in the draft

Jan 18, 2017, 2:05 PM

Forget, for a moment, about who has the first picks. Seems to me, what makes a long, successful career in the NFL is getting on the right team with the right coach(es) and system. Given that, and the availability or likelihood of a starting position either immediately or in the near future, what team do y'all think would be the best fit for DW?

On a different note, God forbid he gets to the Browns, I can think of no one better to give that organization a shot at success - to the degree one player can do that. He is the anti-Johnny Manziel. DW is a team player. He is a humble leader - something very rare these days. If any one player could have a shot at success with the Browns or another foundering team, it would be him with his cool but confident demeanor.

But I'd prefer him to get in to a system like Luck did with the Colts, or even Winston with the Bucs - a team that will commit to him and give him a system that will work for him, but knowing that there will be a 1-2 season learning curve til he really begins producing.
