"Lack of Respect" Card

Over the past 5 to 6 seasons, Dabo has quietly been building our program on good recruiting, player development, coaching development developing a culture of caring about being excellent in everything you do (down to the lowest level of detail)and also a big part of that culture is the us against the world mentality that we have heard the program and its players talk about. In reality, it was and has been true. No one has believed in Clemson since Dabo took over. We were forever underachievers in the years after Danny and before Dabo.

The thing that worried me after win in Tampa. How are we now going to be us against the world now that we have proven everyone wrong? I think that has already been laid out for us. All the pundits see a drop off for us next year and none see us making past Florida State and back to the ACC Championship game much less the the National Playoffs.

There's our chip on our shoulder. There's our us against the world. There's our something to prove!

I wouldn't give a warm bucket of spit for any of the analysts or pundits or whatever.

Right now, I'm celebrating our National Championship. I'm perfectly willing to allow Coach Dabo and Company to deal with next year's issues.
