I truly hate it for DW that he was snubbed again for the big award, but let's look at some facts: the team entered the season as a new dynasty, our offense was so good, our rebuilding defense would need only to show up in order for us to win every game, when the season started, we looked a little rusty, as the season continued we recognized something wasn't right, DW was being used not as a dual threat but as a pass first guy, DW's accuracy was not as strong as it had been, we won several games by thin margins, went into it vs NCSt, lost at home to an unranked Pitt...
Not only do I hate DW didn't win the award, but I hate that Jackson did. Jackson gives every impression of being a rogue who plays for a rogue and DW is about as sound as one could hope a college kid would be. BUT, DW's season, our season, hasn't turned out like we or the press expected. Jackson's season seems to have been better than expected and I think this was the foundation for Jacksons recognition.
