CJ didn't even get invited to NY

Heisman is a joke nowadays thanks to ESPN
I know it's still a big deal, but that doesn't mean it goes to the most deserving

To be fair, CJ didn't play for a 10+ win team in his career here. We were beginning to shed (but not completely) the underachieving personality. Besides, CJ might've had 10 yards after contact in his career. (I kid but this was a knock on him). Compare him and Dalvin Cook and tell me who you'd rather draft or have. Leave emotion at the door and think practical.

The dude started his heisman campaign with a 90+ yard

kickoff return for TD.
You can't knock him on yards after contact if no one can touch him. CJ was much more explosive than Dalvin and potential performance in the NFL has nothing to do with the Heisman.
To not finish in the top 5 was an absolute joke

"CJ was much more explosive than Dalvin"
No he was not. If anything, they're probably about equal when it comes to "explosiveness". You're not giving Cook his due credit.

Dalvin is a better RB... he is going to be better in the NFL too...
Different type of players, not sure why Dalvin got brought up anyway

That's why I said they're about equal. CJ was incredible, but Dalvin is as well.

If Jabrell Peppers got an invite...

CJ should have been front and center. He carried that team his senior year. 5 special team TD's and an insane ACC title game that we couldnt stop a GTech 3rd down during.
I still don't think I've seen a guy in college football since CJ that could match his first couple of steps. The boy had some quicks!

It shouldn't matter how many games a team wins. It's the best player period.Woody was the first QB ever to rush for a 1000 and throw for 2000 and didn't get invited.

about CJ and I then understood why he wasn't invited. It wasn't a snub, it's just the way they count the points.

Especially that Mark Ingram is a total and complete bust in the NFL.
