Scoring Differential

Some fun facts for ya:
Clemson has scored 480 points and given up 203
Tech has scored 371 and given up 253

Clemson outscored Tech by 109 points and surrendered 50 fewer against a much tougher schedule

This is good information. However, 2 of our games were absolute blowouts so we were able to accumulate a lot of points. That being said, I still think the Tigers win. Go Tigers!

In reality we had four games that were what I call blow outs:
SC State 59-0
BC 56-10
Syracuse 54-0 (who beat VT)
scar 56-7

All but one of those teams is a power-5 team, one in the MIGHTY SEC.

VT had plenty of opportunities at lesser opponents and did not score as highly and still gave up more points. VT had only one shut out and scored over 50 only twice, ECU and UVA.

And Nick Schuessler and Kelly Bryant played the bulk of the second half of the blos-outs and still amassed these numbers.

And they did not beat Syracuse which Clemson did emphatically
Pitt is a good team but on paper this game should be a demolition
I'm not sure it will be, the game is played on the field not on stat sheets, but by the numbers Clemson has a lot of reason to be confident.
