Gimme a break.

Higgins is the best big WR prospect since AJ Green.

Ortre Smith could be really good, but best guess is he probably winds up at TE. It's going to be real hard to keep him below 235 or 240 with the frame he's got and guys that big don't usually stay at wideout.

So why didn't we recruit him as TE? Would seem like a natural

spot on a loaded Clemson team.

OreTre is a very good football player. Have seen him play numerous times and Farrell is pretty much spot on with his evaluation. Coots got a good one. With that said, he wouldn't see the field here until his RS Fr-Soph year which played big into his choice (which I can understand). I still think UNC would have been a better fit for him, I know he liked them as well

They are such different receivers it's really tough to compare. I absolutely love Smith. I think he will be a stud. It would have been tremendous to have pulled him. He will end up playing in the 230's to 240's and will retain most of his speed. He will be a true hybrid/jumbo athlete and would, have thrived in our offense.

That being said, Tee is a phenom in my opinion. I'm not family with the Rivals evaluators, but please show me 6 better receivers in his class... I'm still waiting.

Tee has all the measurable steps and is just starting to tap into his God given talent. He will blossom into a superstar at Clemson.

What an amazing article.

Let me compare the 33 overall recruiting to the 85 overall. My legs were shaking in anticipation of the outcome.

So suspenseful Mr. Farrell.

Needs to improve route running according to this article.

Nov 25, 2016, 1:26 PM

Smith you should have came to Clemson and got coached up on the route running by the best WR school in the business.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Higgins, and it's not even close

Nov 25, 2016, 1:49 PM

Anybody who thinks otherwise should have their head checked. Higgins is one of the top WRs in this class and certainly one of the top twenty prospects.

How about last year? Overton, Powell, and Edwards?

Nov 25, 2016, 1:53 PM

I think Edwards has the most stats but overall best talent i'd say is Cornell Powell.

Re: Edwards would not hit the field at Clemson as a Tiger

receiver.
