What happened to Pitt in basketball?

They were top 5 every year then they fall off the edge of the earth.

They were in the tournament last year.

It seems they have slowed down some since 2011 though. They still have only missed the tournament twice in the last 15 years. Not sure why they have slowed some though.

They've been relatively consistent. New coach now though, so we'll see what happens.

I believe I heard Rick Pitino say yesterday he thought Pitt could be a top 15 team this year . He also said 10 or 11 Acc teams " could "make it to the dance .
