Loserville did to NC State what we should have done had it not been for our turnovers.

Eh, even without the tournovers, State managed to

sustain drives and slow the tempo of the game. Similar to what Duke was able to do at Louisville a week earlier. We only had 10 drives the entire game against State. Louisville had 9 possessions against State in the FIRST HALF.

If everything had gone perfectly; targeting against State on the Gallman hit and TD on that drive, TD instead of getting stopped at the 1, no pick six, TD instead of fumble at the 2, TD on the late drive instead of Williams fumble, etc, etc, we would've won like 41-10. That would've been nearly a perfect game with no TOs, TDs on all scoring chances instead of FGs, etc.

I think what happened to State at Louisville is 1) Louisville is really, really good when they are their best, and 2) State shot their load against us and just didn't show up with the same intensity and fight they had in DV. I think they were pretty demoralized from losing the way they did to us and as soon as Louisville jumped on them with a couple early scores they just quit.
