From someone who lived through that era, it's hard to imagine Wilkins having more impact on games that William Perry. He was "a man among boys" for the most part. We're used to seeing 300+ pound linemen now days but back then William was a freak. He was likely the most athletic "big man" who ever put on a Clemson uniform. At 350 pounds, to stand flat footed under a basketball goal and dunk the ball is some feat of strength. He was pretty quick too. That being said, I'm one if Wilkins' biggest fans. That guy is all world! I specially love his mindset. He's out there having a blast, and it shows. I think he may go down as the greatest ambassador for Clemson Football in history. No doubt he will replace Deshaun as "the face of the program" next year. He's putting on a good competition for that title now. And right behind him in the mix is Dexter Lawrence. What a great time to be a Clemson Tiger! I'm hoping they are a team of destiny this year. Why not the Tigers? And why not now? Go Tigers!!!!!

Without a doubt will be among the best, but we've had some good ones.
If he's the bes DT we've had when it's all said and done, that will be quite an accomplishment.
He is a special player, but seems like a better human.
