that we're only taking taking 2 more recruits,a DE & a S. Who will they be and do we top out at 16 recruits?

Right now on Rivals ,we're number 6 based on quantity,#3 based on quality with a 3.86 star average.

...signing a small class with 17 recruits. Meanwhile it seems like Alabama's classes average about 27 year in and year out...lol.

Average star ranking matters (sort of). The rankings NEVER take into account turnover...and that's kind of a big deal.

Signing a top 5 class is great....but when you 1/3 of your signees before they ever step foot on campus it's not longer even a top 20 class. Here's looking at you SEC!

And realize what you just pointed out: We recruit solid talent regardless of star ratings, and we don't lose guys, so we don't need as many to replace those who graduate or go pro.
We will continue to be in the top 10-15 regardless, but being number one or two in recruiting probably means we're rebuilding. Enjoy the reloading process while it lasts.
